Description: Mutilating the bodies of the De Witt brothers at The Hague on Aug. 20, 1672. Around the scaffold, civilians and soldiers have gathered. In the foreground, a man runs away with the pieces of clothing of the victims. On the scaffold, two men hold up parts of the bodies.
